YOGA … HOPEFULLY!

Yogamoga

Namaste!

“Easing out” aches, pains and tension, or, a mindful muscular “working out” of the body, Yoga can be for you. Likewise, if you need to rehabilitate after injury / surgery with gentle somatic movements, or, if “listening” for the body’s responses and giving attention to the sensations associated with subtle movements are more your thing, again, Yoga could be for you!

I offer an eclectic style of yoga encompassing different approaches to the same asana posture so you can determine which is the best way in and out of the Yoga shapes for your body.

The yoga styles referenced are Hatha, Ashtanga, Iyengar, Yin, Power, Somatic, Restorative, Forrest, Jivamukti and Kundalini and the sessions are as much about discovering the style that suits you as they are about finding the right approach for you to develop your yoga journey.

Engaging the correct muscles in the correct order from the initial micro movements through to the full expression of an asana, with notions of alignment and misalignment being addressed along the way, we will look for nuance and “iron out” the “wrinkles’ in our movement patterns.

Most of my work is in studios, and, some is “out and about” in peoples houses/gardens , in places of work such as office/ workspaces and out in parks, nature reserves and open spaces.
